deadsnares

jeff cain channels what it is to drive the deserted city streets where humidity and heat and melancholia hang precipitously on a moonlit night when the surrealists, led by manray and rose selavy, happened to take a time machine to tomorrow and picked up a discarded new wave cassette tape along the way.
exactly one year ago cain’s ‘deadsnares’ was released as a vinyl-only album. its a beauty, and has just recently been released for download via itunes. i stayed up too late tonight listening to it while staring bleary-eyed out of the window, pining over a heart about to be broken as the streetlight slow-danced across the neighbor’s yard.
