even though i’m not taking professor marv’s high art class, i thought i would join in and do a series of my own. critiques accepted as always. seriously, someone comment on this blog or we’re gonna go on strike.

    I love these! I’m so pleased that you two are posting again. Seriously, I think I’ll decorate my new place exclusively with your, Marv, Chris Lawson and my great autie Gertrude’s art. It’s bound to be the most stylish place in New Orleans.

    i think these are great. i love the textures and the silhouetted motifs. this is absolutely some of the best work you’ve done.

    wow, thanks. i didn’t expect all that. oh, and the only way i’d hang these on a wall next to chris lawson would be if he promised to glue & sew stuff on the other side! i think i’ve got a great aunt gertrude too. but she didn’t paint. she just dipped the snuff.

    these remind me of a flip book i had when i was a kid of “what i want to be when i grow up” pictures. you could match ballerina legs with the bust of a doctor and the head of a fireman. genius. bravo my friend… bravo!
